Prepare an equipment list
Record the machine name, model, year if known, quantity, working status and whether the equipment is complete. Include photos of the nameplate, control panel, main body, motors and important attachments.
For a production line, describe the line sections, control cabinets, conveyors, feeders and supporting equipment separately. This makes it easier to distinguish reusable assets from metal material.
Site conditions matter
Before a site discussion, note the floor, doorway, loading bay, lift or crane availability, vehicle access, dismantling needs and the planned shutdown date. The factory remains responsible for its own production shutdown, power isolation and safety approvals.
Mixed equipment and metal clearance can be discussed together, but the list should keep reusable equipment, electrical units and ordinary scrap in separate groups.
A practical handover
Service arrangements cover mainland Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai according to appointment, quantity and location. The final handover plan should confirm scope, access, loading, weighing and item transfer before work begins.
Frequently asked questions
Can an old production line and its scrap be handled in one project?
They can be discussed in one project, but the inventory should separate complete equipment, electrical units, reusable parts and metal scrap.
What photos are most helpful for old machinery?
A nameplate photo, a full-machine photo, control-panel photo, motor or drive photo and the surrounding access area are useful for the initial discussion.
